Every Bet Returns 90%: What 155.io's Published Payout Tables Mean for CCTV Games Strategy
155.io's own documentation shows Range, Under, Over and Exact all return 90% in Rush Hour, Duck River and Snow Run. Bet type changes variance, not value. Four strategy points: choose by swing size, know which bets Lightning rounds boost, watch micro-stake rounding, and use the posted probability.

155.io has published the payout and RTP tables for its CCTV games, and they settle an argument most strategy guides get wrong. In Rush Hour, Duck River and Snow Run, every bet on the slip returns 90%. Range, Under, Over and Exact all carry the same 10% house edge. Picking a bet type does not change how much you lose over time. It only changes how bumpy the ride is.
The numbers, from the source
The 155.io payout reference lists the same table for all three CCTV titles:
- Range pays 2.25x at 90% RTP
- Under pays 3x at 90% RTP
- Over pays 3.6x at 90% RTP
- Exact pays 18x at 90% RTP
- Exact High and Exact Low pay 36x at 90% RTP
The game rules explain why. Each option's RTP equals its multiplier times its true win probability, and the multiplier is set from true odds less the margin. So a 3x Under wins about 30% of the time, a 3.6x Over about 25%, and an 18x Exact about 5%. Multiply any of them out and you land on 0.90.
That means the old advice to "stick to Over/Under for the best RTP" is wrong for these games. Over/Under is not cheaper. It is smoother.
Strategy point 1: choose by variance, not value
With the edge fixed, the real choice is how often you want to win. Range wins roughly 4 rounds in 10. Exact wins roughly 1 in 20. Over 100 rounds at $1, the expected cost is the same $10 for both. The difference is that a Range session drifts down slowly, while an Exact session sits at a loss for long stretches and then jumps. If you are playing for time on screen, Range and Under/Over make a budget last longer. If you are playing for a single hit, Exact is the honest way to say so.
Strategy point 2: Lightning rounds help some bets, not all
Lightning rounds can multiply a winning option, which lifts effective RTP to between 90% and 92.16% depending on the selection. But 155.io notes that Exact High and Exact Low sit in a separate market that is never in a Lightning pool. Their RTP stays at 90%. The 18x Exact is boostable, which is why the Lightning ceiling is 90x, not 180x. If you like long shots, the 36x boundary bets give you the bigger number but miss the boost.
Strategy point 3: watch your stake size
Payouts are calculated as the multiplier times your stake, rounded down to the smallest currency unit. At normal stakes this does not matter. At very small stakes it can. A 3.6x win on one cent pays three cents, not 3.6. If you play micro stakes on Over or Range, use amounts where the payout lands on a whole unit, such as multiples of 5 cents for 3.6x and 4 cents for 2.25x.
Strategy point 4: the probability is posted, so use it
155.io says every round's outcome is committed before betting closes, and the exact probabilities are published with each round. A "40% option" resolves 40% of the time, verifiably. Your only possible edge is a read that beats the posted probability, such as knowing a Rush Hour junction empties after a light change. Most of the time, the posted number already knows what you know.
Where the better number sits
For comparison, Footfall, the 155.io crash-style game, lists a 94% base RTP with no Lightning rounds. That is the highest base return in the CCTV line-up today.
The bottom line
Every bet on a Duck River or Snow Run slip costs about 10 cents per dollar over time. Decide how long you want to play, size your stake from that, and read our responsible play guide before you start.
