Footfall: 155.io Brings Crash Mechanics to the CCTV Game Genre

The CCTV Game genre just picked up its first crash-mechanic title. 155.io unveiled Footfall on 31 July, and it went live at Razed.com on 20 August. The pitch is simple. A CCTV shot watches a public space. A multiplier climbs. You cash out any time. Wait too long, someone rounds the corner, and the round ends.

This is a mechanic shift for the studio. Rush Hour, Duck River and Snow Run all run on prediction. You pick a number, the round plays out, the count settles the market. Footfall runs on nerve. The moment you cash out is the moment you win or leave money on the table.

How the round works

You place a bet before the round starts. The multiplier ticks up while nothing walks into frame. Cash out at any point to lock the current multiplier.
