Two studio launches inside one week have put a number on Miser's new direct-publishing model: a flat 10 percent of gross gaming revenue paid monthly to indie studios that publish straight onto the Miser catalogue via Miser Engine, et a clean exclusive lock for the studios that go all-in. For a CCTV games supplier the size of 155.io, the question of distribution-led versus Miser-direct now has a price tag attached to it.
Two launches, one signal
On 20 June, Miser.us added Elemental's Journey from Degen Lab to its "Only on Miser" category. According to The Lines, Degen Lab works exclusively for Miser.us. The slot itself is a 7x7 cluster-pays title at 97.7 percent RTP with a 10,000x cap, but the publishing relationship is the real headline.
On 23 June, Toronto-listed Boba Mint Holdings (CSE: TNJ) launched HeatCheck Gaming with the explicit purpose of building premium casino games for Miser via Miser Engine. According to the Nouvellesfile release, publishers receive 10 percent of gross gaming revenue on a monthly basis, carry no exposure to player downside, et operate under what Boba Mint describes as a "highly scalable and capital-light" model. The first HeatCheck title, Unicorn Derby, is scheduled to land on Miser in the coming days.
What Miser Engine actually changes
Miser Engine launched in April 2026. It removes the aggregator layer - Moyeu88, SoftSwiss, Pragmatic distribution - for studios that are willing to publish only into Miser's catalogue. In return, the studio collects 10 percent of GGR direct from one of the largest crypto casino brands in the world without paying out the usual aggregator cut.
The trade-off is reach. A studio published through Moyeu88 lands at thirty-plus operators including Roobet and Mélanger. A studio published through Miser Engine lands at one. Capital-light, yes. Audience-capped, also yes.
Why this matters for the CCTV games category
155.io has spent 2026 going distribution-led. The Moyeu88 deal earlier in the year et le SoftSwiss agreement signed in early June put Heure de pointe, Rivière aux Canards and Course sur neige in front of the longest operator tail available to the category.
The current footprint reflects that posture. All three CCTV titles are live at Miser, Roobet and Mélanger, avec Rasé running Heure de pointe only. That is multi-operator distribution working as designed (full operator map on the where-to-play page).
The Moyeu88 versus Miser Engine maths
The aggregator route splits a relatively small share-per-operator across a wide tail. Reach is broad, integration cost per operator is absorbed by the aggregator, et le studio carries no platform risk. The Miser Engine route flips the geometry. The studio takes 10 percent of GGR direct, the aggregator cut disappears, et le audience is capped at Miser's player base.
For a category-defining supplier like 155.io, the interesting move is probably not switching, but adding. A Miser-exclusive CCTV title built on Miser Engine, sitting next to the existing multi-operator catalogue, would give Miser a marketing weapon - an "Only on Miser" CCTV badge - while leaving Roobet, Mélanger and Rasé untouched on the original three games.
The watch
Whether the next 155.io game appears first on Miser under an "Only on Miser" tag will tell us which way the supplier is leaning. The cleanest near-term test is HeatCheck itself: Unicorn Derby hits the catalogue in the coming days, et le first month of disclosed revenue under a 10 percent flat will be the most useful public data point yet on direct-publishing economics. If those numbers hold up, expect more category suppliers to run the same model in their planning.
